Seat Frames
The car sat in an open field for several years in all kinds of weather. The seat padding soaked up and stored water, hence the rusted state of the seat frames. This required much cutting out of rusted sections and shaping and welding in new tubing.
we have a MGA 1958 and are now repairing the seats. Did you already put new filling in the back frame? I'm not 100 % sure how to do this. Any suggestions? I have bought new filling, large thick filling, smaller filling and a sort of braun deck.
